I was invited along on this latest trip to Scott Hollow which was lead by the intrepid owner himself, Mike Dore.

The plan was to cave our way back the 2 miles to camp where there would be a bit of a clean up then we'd head back out. We did just that.

I had heard about the camp at Scott Hollow and seen a few pics from fellow Cleveland Grotto members who had camped there overnight, so I was curious to see the 'place' for myself.

The 4 hour or so trip back there definately isn't a cakewalk. You encounter the Mystic River, which depending on the latest rainfall could be waist deep or higher, much scrambling up and down breakdown, some climbing, a ladder, and did I mention breakdown?!

A few of the highlights of the trip were the Double Waterfalls, the huge stalagtite in Ambers Garden and the Glacier Room above camp.
