It had gotten pretty darn cold out so we walked quickly down the hill, that's on the side of the cabin, to the entrance of the cave. A light snow had begun to fall. Really awesome cave. The cave is pretty much one main passage which is entirely filled with water about knee height and above. At least when we were there. (The water height sometimes reaches the top of the gate pictured below. We were shown a photo at the Speleobooks giftshop of such.) We caved for a good couple hours. Our feet and legs were quite cold, as you can imagine, but it was well worth it. Formations were all over. We just kept looking around saying, "Wow"! The pictures don't do it justice. I think part of the problem is that I was snapping pictures under a different setting than should have. It's a shame. Oh well, you live and learn. (I'm still trying to figure out all the features on my camera and am having fun doing so, as many of you know).
